HOW IT WORKS

Mount your Lens to the Enlarger. For 35mm film we recommend to use a 50mm lens. Other lenses are possible, but you may have to add a macro ring

APP
With the SmartLab35 app on iOS and soon on Android, you can organize and control your Enlarger by Bluetooth in no time at all. Connect to your device and off you go ...
BLACK & WHITE
In Black and White mode you can set up an exposure time up to 999 seconds.

You can set the intensity of the enlarger down to -4.0 f-stops.
​
For multigrade paper you can select the gradation from 00.0 to 5.0.

Control the the enlarger with the function buttons. Use the FOCUS-Light to set up the sharpness of your image. Use the SAFE-Light for inserting the paper. START and PAUSE the exposure by using the center button.
COLOR
In Color mode you can set up an exposure time up to 999 seconds.

You can control the color grading of your image by adjusting the intensity of each color channel. In the options menu you can choose between CMY and RGB color system.

Control the enlarger with the function buttons. Use the FOCUS-Light to set up the sharpness of your image. START and PAUSE the exposure by using the center button.

Hey, I'm Santiago Ramirez Sonntag, founder of SmartLab35. I'm an engineer and passionate photographer. Since my studies I have been combining my passion for modern technology and photography together with partners in Wetzlar, the home of photography.
SmartLab35 stands for classic photography rethought. We combine today's technologies with classic photographic processes. The use of modern tools creates a completely new and simpler experience of laboratory work in photography.
